Having the option of them rolling earlier (like the Harman Curve) suits them and my room. But it does give the user a lot more freedom to experiment and find what works for them in there environment.įor me my front stage are Klipsch with the Tractrix Horn, while not as bright as previous Klipsch speakers they still have a lively high-end to them. So it's not a one size fits all when it comes to these custom curves. Or you can edit your own curve that follows the measured response of your speaker with particular attention on the roll off on the high frequencies, this one is a lot more involved process which I have not tried yet. Or find a custom curve that matches our speakers or sound preference □ We can limit the correction to our desired frequency. In our case with Audyssey we don't have that luxury. Going back to the Dirac frame of thought, it was always recommended to limit the high frequencies of the speakers or have the target curve follow the measured roll-off response of the speakers. I said this at the start when was creating these curves based on typical target curves being used that not all curves are going to fit out purpose. Missing certain frequencies, no they were all there last time I checked □
